The gregorian Schola Idesbaldus has been founded by organist Jan Vermeire.

The Schola is an independent association. The musical interpretation is based on Gregorian semiology, with use of the Graduale Triplex, and also other restituted sources.

On a regular base, the men sing services and offices of Vespers in different churches.

They are often invited to sing on funeral services and auditions of Gregorian chant on other places.
